The American Land Access Association is a political action group organized to promote the amateur collectors’ interest in present and proposed policies, rules and regulations that may impact rockhounding. The Special Congress Representing Involved Bulletin Editors (SCRIBE) is an international organization of bulletin editors of amateur gem, mineral and earth science societies designed to improve communications among clubs and assist editors with ideas.
