Lewis & Clark Expedition Bicentennial
Project

On May 14, 2004, the United States will celebrate the bicentennial of an
event that changed the course of our history and changed the history of the
world. The event to be celebrated is the beginning of the Lewis and Clark
expedition.
The AFMS created a new committee with a project
goal to produce a traveler's guide to the rocks, minerals, and
fossils along the Lewis and Clark Trail.
Brenda
Hankins
was the chair for this committee.
