All major faceting equipment dealers and National tool and equipment dealers will be represented.

Special Large lapidary demos each hour. Continuous Educational exhibits on Silversmithing, Cold Connections, Faceting, Cabbing, Beading, Gem trees and more. Large junior’s booth, Gem ID and Gem mining sluice. Scouting educational sessions to earn merit Badges in rocks and metal work.

Show Dates: September 25, 26, 27, 2015

Show Times:  Friday 1 PM to 6 PM
                        Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM
                        Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM

We will have speakers, gem cad lessons, faceting lessons, faceting machine dealers, and faceting rough dealers and there may be some very special surprise guests joining us from the TV show Prospectors.  


Friday:  1 pm -  Dianne Eames, G.G. gem faceter, bench jeweler, will be talking about faceting Topaz.

Friday:  3 pm - Tom Mitchell, author, faceter and faceting instructor, will be talking  about faceting tricks and tips.

Saturday:  10 am - Scott Forward, retired geologist and gem and mineral ID instructor at William Holland, will be discussing mineral ID  

Saturday:   1 pm - Ann Cahoon, bench jeweler, jewelry arts instructor and DVD author, will be discussing various ways to set gems.

Saturday:   3 pm - Dianne Eames, G.G., gem faceter, bench jeweler, will be back  to talk about polishing.

Sunday:   10 am - John Rolphe, the owner of Gearloose, a faceting product         manufacturer and retailer, will be discussing polishing theory.

Sunday:   1 pm - Gary Beckman, G.G. retired, will be discussing gem treatments.


Friday and Saturday: 10 am till 5 pm - Introduction to Faceting.  Anyone interested in learning to facet is welcome.  Class Fee: $50.00
Sunday:  10 am - Beginning Gem Cad with Robert Strickland the creator of the                                   computer aided design program
               1 pm - Intermediate Gem Cad with Robert Strickland
               3 pm - Advanced Gem Cad with Robert Strickland.
               Class Fee:  $25.00 per class
