International Dealers with every type and quality of gem, finished jewelry
(costume to fine), beads, art objects, collector specimens (gems, minerals,
rocks, fossils, etc.), lapidary and jewelry materials and supplies.

The 46th Annual New Orleans Gem, Mineral, Fossil & Jewelry Show presented by the Gem & Mineral Society of Louisiana, Inc. at New Orleans, features ~20 dealers exhibiting precious gem stones, Louisiana opals, minerals, fossils, beads and jewelry.
Members of the Society will be demonstrating jewelry making, cabochon cutting, and computer interpretation of seismic data and well logs applied to oil exploration.
Featured displays will include fluorescent minerals, dinosaur bones and cabochons made from ballast stones, a reminder of New Orleans early maritime history.
Specials for children include rock grab bags and “polish your own cabochons”.
The grand prize to be raffled will be a multi-colored stone swan sculpture carved in Brazil.
