 Civic Center Building, Jackson County Fairgrounds, located one
block north of and behind the Singing River Hospital Complex which is on U.S. Highway 90, in Pascagula, Mississippi.  Free admission and

 Show will have 20 dealers with a wide selection of jewelry, gemstones, gem stone rough, slabs, lapidary supplies, tools, fossils, and collectibles.

Members from area clubs will be demonstrating techniques in lapidary arts and crafts.  Vicki Reynolds a local artist that specializes in painting on rock slabs and Bill Metcalfe, the Flint Knapper, will be at the show.

There will be thirty exhibits including Bill and Lois Patillo with their 
famous “Rock Food Table” and a special exhibit on loan from the
Smithsonian Institute.

The Columbia, SC Gem & Mineral Society will hold its 41st Annual Gem Mineral and Jewelry Show 2008

 South Carolina State Museum, 301 Gervais St., Columbia, SC   29201

24 Dealers will sell rough & cut gemstones, fine jewelry, gold & silver, beads, fossils, minerals, and lapidary supplies.  Geodes are also sold and cut.                                                                                         

 Club members will demonstrate and several large mineral and fossil collections will be on exhibit.  South Carolina large clusters and crystals of amethyst found in Abbeville County, SC on exhibit.

 Admission: Adult $3.50  Children 12 & under are free.
On Sunday all military and their dependants get in free.
The museum admission is separate however if you visit the museum
You will receive $1.00 off museum admission.
