PURPOSE: The Endowment Fund was established to ensure that in the future and the present there will be monies available for projects approved by the Board of Directors and ratified by a 2/3 vote of those present and voting at an Executive Committee meeting. However, only the interest may be used for projects as well as administrative expenses. The final operating procedures were approved by the Executive Board on October 13, 1989 at Springfield. MO.

Some of you have asked "What does the Endowment Fund do for the Federation? Only the interest income is used and recent projects have included the printing and mailing of "Award Winning Articles", "Quiz" Booklets, and MWF Operating Procedures Manuals; a new sound system for meetings; state flags for convention displays; and computers for the Secretary and Newsletter Editor.

RECOGNITION TO DONORS: The Endowment Fund Committee would like to recognize and thank all Clubs and individuals who have made contributions to the Fund in past years and in 2007.

CONTRIBUTIONS: Donations of checks or cash should be sent to the Endowment Fund Treasurer. Donations of property, items, or collections should be made through the Endowment Fund Chairman.

MESSAGE FROM CHAIR: Now that we have reached our long standing goal of $50,000 in the fund, through your efforts & donations, let's set a NEW GOAL of doubling that amount in the next 5 years….'2011' will be here before you know it!

I personally express my thanks to all MWF clubs, societies and organizations for your generous donations! I would also like to thank each member of the Endowment Fund Committee for your continuing support.....much appreciated! Thank You. Remember this is YOUR Federation....THANK YOU for your time & support of it.
