13:  LINCOLN, NE.  Lincoln Gem & Mineral Club GRINDING PARTY.  Prairie Building, Pioneer Park, 3208 Coddington Avenue (W. 19-20:  MOOSE LAKE, MN.  Carlton County Gem & Mineral Club 39TH ANNUAL SHOW.  Moose Lake High School, 413 Birch Avenue.  Sat. 9:00-5:00, Sun. 9:00-4:00.  Held in conjunction with Moose Lake Agate Days, this the biggest Lake Superior Agate show in the state!  30 vendors inside, PLUS 50 vendors outside, will be selling just about everything related to our hobby - minerals, fossils, agates, books, beads, jewelry, cabs, slabs, rough rock, and more!  Special event: FREE, self-guiding maps will be available showing the local, active agate pits; come collect your own agates!!  Kids special event - the Agate Stampede: At 2:00 on Saturday, hundreds of quarters and hundreds of agates are mixed in with gravel, then spread on the street.  Kids can keep anything they find!  There will also be displays (including fluorescent), free mineral ID, door prizes every half hour, and food.  Admission: FREE (a free-will offering will be gratefully accepted) and there ’s FREE parking.  CONTACT: Al Hyopponen, 4902 Jean Duluth Road, Duluth, MN  55804, (218) 525-7766,
