The Eastern Federation of Mineralogical and Lapidary Societies, Inc. is a member of the
American Federation of Mineralogical Societies. It was organized in 1950 and joined
the AFMS in 1952. It encompasses the North Eastern region of the United States and
has over 150 different clubs and over 10,000 members.
